I'm giving this product 4 stars because it's a quality made and stylishly designed pet fountain that includes a bunch of filters for replacement inside, the unit is easy to put together and easy to clean and - overall - it's really a great product that works and keeps the water running clean for your pet. It's also very nicely priced compared to others in this space and really does have a nice look to it with whisper quiet usage. It doesn't make a sound when operating.The only issue I have is that my cat will not use it. I've done everything I can think of and even referenced tons of YouTube videos and pet articles online to try and get her acclimated to using it alongside her normal water bowl. I really wanted her to be able to have this, especially because I live in Florida and was very hot here in the Summers and she can go through a lot of water and editing, especially running up and down our stairs in our town home.Despite well-intention research And almost 3 months now of patient integration. Trying to work this into her daily life so that she'll at least know it's there -Nothing has come of it.She will not use this fountain and I don't know why she's not that picky of a cat but at the same time I feel like she is confused by it because she's used to lapping up water for my pool inside her bowl and this is something creating motion to the water that she doesn't want to deal with. She is an indoor cat and always has been and does not like the rain or water. So, that's all I can think of. Logically, If I'm going down that way of thinking, I did make sure for a good while that I almost overfilled the water fountain so that the tray on top where the water will accumulate and sink back in would almost pool itself and creating a reserve so that she could then drink from it instead. But it still did no good so...To my fellow pet lovers out there who are looking to splurge and get your little one something they don't really need but it's just adorable. I highly recommend this fountain. Even though my baby Lily app would not use this, I'm sure there are many cats, dolls and other pets that will utilize it with no problem whatsoever. As I said, the only issue I have is that she won't use it. It beyond that this is a quality material that I feel would last a very long while and is worth every Penny.In the meantime, I'm now thinking how I can integrate it into the household where outdoors creatively... 😆
